1 a.  Pygidium tergum with setae a2 and a3 subsimilar in form and setae st lanceolate.  Pygidium sternum with setae b1 lyrate, spiralled terminally. Third trichobothrium with short oblique pubescence apically --> B. pearsei
b. Pygidium tergum with setae a2 and a3 dramatically different in form and st setiform or reduced. Pygidium sternum with setae b1 normal setiform. Third trichobothrium with bushy branching pubescence apically --> 2

2 (1) a. Pygidium tergum with with either setae a2 or a3 very large, extremely thick, horn shaped, glabrous, and with a large basal bulge, remaining pair thick but not nearly as thick, obliquely pubescent. Anal plate inverted hastiform, apically with a rounded projection bearing a pair of appendages --> B. inopinabilis
b. Pygidium tergum with setae a2 lanceolate, a3 thin and setiform, not obviously pubescent. Anal plate linguiform, apically with an acute projection flanked by a pair of appendages --> B. andrewsensis
